Hemera gives us the chance to do a sounding balloon flight in collaboration with the CNES (Centre National d’Études Spatiales). We will be launching a sounding balloon on their Aire-sur-l’adour site. For this flight we will send a spectrometer with the balloon as well. Our goal is to make a spectrometer for a different spectrum, in order to get info on other chemical substances. We will also be in constant contact with the balloon, so we will get info such as position, height, temperature,… in real time. To obtain this, we will use RTTY and APRS.
