VEX Robotics is an international competition, with national level pre-qualifying events. It concludes in the finale, being hosted in The United States at varying locations each year.

You start out building your robot using VEX-supplied parts to compete in that years challenge. You must use parts from the organizers themselves for the entire robot, not doing so may lead to being disqualified.

You start of by competing at a national level, and move up untill eventually culminating at the global finale. It’s also required to document each step in a ‘notebook’, which is also judged by a jury.

VEX has multiple age related categories, we participate in the v5 competition.
